Hello there, thanks for dropping by my little corner on the internet!
I was born in Madras and raised in the Hills of Himachal Pradesh. I’ve enjoyed writing and storytelling since I was a child. I’ve dabbled in poetry and short fiction, and have made several attempts at a novel.
Dwidala Camera Shop, my first novel to be published, is a genre-bender, combining magical realism and urban ennui to explore themes of perception, trauma, and healing.
Writing aside, I’ve had a varied career. I did telephone tech support at Dell, edited foreign exchange research at UBS AG, and conducted corporate investigations at two well-known consulting firms. I currently head corporate compliance at a Dutch technology company. I’ve also taught Krav Maga and coached extensively on communication skills and personality development.
Apart from my work and writing, I’m a passionate photographer (the title of my novel should have been a clue!). I collect vintage cameras and lenses, and shoot Black & White film. I maintain the Analogue Photography India Resources List.
I’ve lived in Madras, Bangalore, and Gurgaon in the past, and am currently based in Hyderabad.
